Purpose

The purpose of Hope for Children is for Bible Fellowship Church to be actively obeying God's command to care for orphans by reaching out and meeting the needs of these children locally and internationally.

Hope for Children exists to create an awareness of God's heart for orphans and to support families involved in adoption and foster parenting.

James 1:27
"Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world."

Psalm 68:5-6
"A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation. God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a dry land."

Psalm 82:3
"Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy."
