You’ve completed Discover BFC. You’ve learned more about how God has uniquely created and gifted you. Now it’s time to take the next step.

Connection Class is the final step in becoming fully connected to the mission and ministry of Bible Fellowship Church.

At BFC, we believe church is more than a place you attend—it’s a family you belong to and a mission you participate in. God has given every follower of Jesus Christ gifts, abilities, experiences, and resources that can be used to build His Church and reach others with the Gospel.

That’s why we don’t simply invite you to become a “member.”
We invite you to JOIN THE TEAM.

What Is The Connection Class?

Connection Class follows our eight-week Discover BFC experience and provides an opportunity to understand more deeply who we are as a church, what we believe, where we are going, and how you can become part of it.

During Connection Class, we'll talk about:

Our mission and vision

You'll learn why BFC exists, where we believe God is leading our church, and how each of us can participate in that mission.

meet our leadership

We'll introduce you to our pastors, staff, and elders and explain how BFC is led, organized, and cared for.

what we believe

We'll walk through the foundational doctrinal beliefs of Bible Fellowship Church and the biblical convictions that guide our teaching and ministry.

financial transparency

We believe the resources God provides through His people should be handled with integrity and accountability.

We'll explain our church budget, how financial gifts are received and counted, and the safeguards we have established to protect both the church and those who give.

Our pastors and elders do not have access to or knowledge of the specific tithes and financial gifts made by individuals or families.

finding your place to serve

God has uniquely equipped you to make a difference.

You'll have an opportunity to complete a Ministry Interest Form designed to help connect your gifts, interests, and experience with meaningful opportunities to serve throughout BFC.

Join The Team

At the conclusion of Connection Class, we will unapologetically invite you to Join the Team.

Joining the Team is your opportunity to say:
“This is my church. I believe in what God is doing here, and I want to be part of it.”

Those who Join the Team affirm their agreement with the doctrinal beliefs of Bible Fellowship Church, declare their personal faith in Jesus Christ, and affirm that they have followed Jesus Christ in baptism by immersion.

But joining the team is about more than signing an agreement.
